Back again for this weeks games as I tell you who the winners and losers will be this week.
New Orleans @ Chicago
Both teams struggling for playoff berths and a lose could mean the end for that team. The Saints are very inconsistent and lack a running game. However the Bears pass defense is not that good either. So Brees will shred the Bears threw the air. Saints take this one as the Bears will be virtually out of the playoffs. Saints win 27-18.
Tampa Bay @ Atlanta
Both teams in contention for the postseason and need this win, Atlanta more so. Matt Ryan having a very good rookie season and a dynamite running game and will look to do what the Panthers did to the Bucs on Monday Night. Atlanta continues the NFC South's trend of winning at home. Winning this one 30-28.
Washington @ Cincinnati
The Redskins had a little off the field beef with head coach and star running back Clinton Portis. They should be able to put that behind them as they can cure their woes against the terrible Bengals. Portis should run wild and have well over 100 yards rushing. The Skins need to win to stay in the hunt. Washington wins 24-9.
Seattle @ St. Louis
Two very disappointing teams both playing for nothing more than respect and their pay checks. Both teams torn apart by injury and bad bounces will try and get ready for next season. Seahawks on the road head into St. Louis and take care of the Rams. Seahawks win over the Rams 23-20.
San Fransisco @ Miami
Trying to knock off their second straight AFC East contender in consecutive weeks after beating the Jets. The Dolphins can remain tied with the Jets with a win and try to set up a season finale for possibly the division title in New York in week 17. Dolphins won't drop at home to the improving 49ers, Fins 34-17.
Buffalo @ New York Jets
The Bills keep reellying after a great promise to the season starting 5-1. The Jets need to win after dropping last weeks game. Jets have to much to play for and with veteran leadership on the team. New York Bretts 18-13.
Detroit @ Indianapolis
The Lions almost had their first win against the Vikings last week but couldn't hold on. The Colts still in the mist of a wild card slot in the AFC. Manning seems to be hitting their stride at the right time of the year and will role over the winless Lions. Colts big 41-16.
San Diego @ Kansas City
With just one more loss the Chargers will be sitting at home this post season unlike last season when they were only one game away from the Super Bowl. The Chiefs looking for the future to be near will have a top 5 draft pick to continue rebuilding their franchise. LT has not had many break out games this season and this is as good of time as any and I think he has one. Chargers win this one 30-10.
Green Bay @ Jacksonville
The Pack is eliminated from the post season in Aaron Rodgers' first season under the center but not much can be blamed on him. His underachieving, injured, and inexperienced defense was the story much of the season. The Jags much of the same from them. Super Bowl expectations and injuries and bad bounces have them looking forward to the off season as well. Both teams will play hard and the Pack gets a road win 27-23.
Tennessee @ Houston
Tennessee is getting closer and closer to clinching home field through out the playoffs and they should get even closer with a road win here. The running game and play action will dominate the Texans. Titans "winner winner chicken dinner" 34-14.
Minnesota @ Arizona
The Vikings and Cardinals both looking like players in January. This should be a battle in the desert with a lot of Adrien Peterson and more Kurt Warner. The Cards defense has been much improved from previous seasons and will play well in the postseason as well as Sunday. Fitzgerald and Boldin each get TDs and win at home. Cards sink the Vikes ship, 24-21.
Denver @ Carolina
Denver can clinch a playoff berth and still lose. Carolina can win Sunday and their final two games and end up with home field through out the playoffs. The Smash and Dash running game should repeat much of same as they did against Tampa Bay. Panthers over Broncos 40-17.
Pittsburgh @ Baltimore
The hardest hitting game all year to take place in Baltimore. These hated rivals have so much to play for. Baltimore can tie the Steelers and then ultimately take over the division lead. Playoffs, seeding, and hatred leads the headlines here and should be a fun game to watch and not play. Steelers have had so many tough games thus far this season and this will be another. Their experience will give them an edge and win on the road 23-22.
New England @ Oakland
Not much to say here, the Patriots need this one and the Raiders, well have nothing to play for. Cassel wins it with 350+ yards passing and route the Raiders. Pats 38-12.
New York Giants @ Dallas
Another top notch game in the NFC East. Dallas has to win and needs it but the Giants have been struggling as well. Sunday Night in Big D with the stage set, sounds like TO is saying, "Getcha Popcorn Ready." I will have mine ready and watch as the Giants, too physical and not as much controversy on their sidelines win 27-21.
Cleveland @ Philadelphia
Monday Night Football in the city of Brotherly Love, the Browns a disappointing season and cannot wait until it is over with while the Eagles are still in contention for a January berth. Watch McNabb dominate and win over the Browns, 29-16.

Championship Saturday in College Football
College Football's conference championship games are under way this Saturday. The biggest games with much controversy behind them. The SEC Championship in the Georgia Dome, the Big XII Championship in Arrowhead, and the ACC Championship in the Orange Bowl. It should be a great Saturday of games.
Boston College vs. Virginia Tech
The ACC title is a rematch from last years game. Same two teams with different names under the helmets. Matt Ryan last year led the Golden Eagles to the title game there last year and they managed to make it back there this year in a weak ACC conference. Virginia Tech always has a good defense and excels on special teams, especially at blocking kicks. Boston College not necessarily glad to be there but they should be. Va. Tech wins their second straight ACC title.
Missouri vs. Oklahoma
The game that has the most controversy surrounding it is the Big XII Championship. OU or Texas or even Texas Tech to some extend for the past week has had the entire college football nation scratching their heads after this unbelievable three way tie amongst the top to the Big XII South. OU beat out the Longhorns to make into the Title game and with a win will advance to the BCS Championship game. The Sooners offense has been stellar and the defense at times has looked average. Not going to matter here, Sam Bradford playing hurt will prevail and have a big game. Sooners win over the Tigers 54-27.
Florida vs. Alabama
Finally, the SEC Championship. The game with so much hype and so many quality players on both sides of the ball. A hard hitting game will surely be on the menu here. Also two contrasting styles taking on one another as Florida likes to spread the defense out and Alabama likes to smash the ball down your throat and throw it to their talented young freshman receiver, Julio Jones. It should be the best of the three championship games on Saturday and will surely be good to watch. Without Percey Harvin the Gators may be shorthanded, but I like the Gators coming out on top. Closer than the experts think. Florida wins 26-19.

Week 14 in the NFL
Well after taking the Thanksgiving holiday off to rest up and spend time with my family that I am grateful for I am back to give to you thoughts on the upcoming NFL slate of games. The overview of this week has many teams looking to secure playoff spots that they for better or for worse will eventually get regardless. The Giants can possibly clinch the NFC East, Arizona Cardinals can lock up their first playoff spot since the Jake Plummer run they had. Also they can clinch their first divisional title in 33 years. With a win and a loss by the San Diego Chargers the Denver Broncos can clinch a spot as well. Now let's dive into this weeks of games. Also last Sunday road teams went an outstanding 10-2.
Oakland @ San Diego
This week's Thursday Night flex game has two struggling teams. San Diego playing for their playoff lives to live another week and stay alive until the season's finale against division leading Denver. With a loss and a Broncos' win they will be eliminated from playoff contention. So in other words this is a "Must Win Game" for the Chargers. LT has not shown many flashes of greatness this season and if there was a time to start it would be now. San Diego needs this one, they are at home, and Phillip Rivers is due for a great game at home. His QB rating is a whopping 113.5 at home and look for him to continue his dominance at home against the Raiders. San Diego wins on the NFL Network 27-12.
Jacksonville @ Chicago
After being embarrassed and losing at division rival Minnesota on Sunday Night the Chicago Bears need to win to stay within striking distance of division leader Minnesota. The Jaguars are out of playoff contention and have been for quite some time but still playing for pay checks and respect will show up under Coach Del Rio but it will not matter. The Bears know time is running out and Devin Hester is well over due of scoring on a return this season. Maybe Sunday he finally gets into the end zone via punt return in a Chicago route winning against the Jags 26-13.
Minnesota @ Detroit
With a few off the field controversy looming in the clouds in Minneapolis the win less Lions may have finally found their break they have been looking for all season. The will they or won't they be suspended up in the air over the Pro Bowl caliber defensive tackles Kevin and Pat Williams (no relation) the Lions may be able to take one from the Vikes and win their first game of the season. Another note to this game Daunte Culpepper gets a shot to knock off his old team and get back at his former team for trading him. Adrien Peterson leads the NFL in rushing but it could be another young star in Calvin Johnson stealing the show in this game if the Lions want to win this game. I may be completely off on this one but I feel something crazy happening in Detroit on Sunday, Lions end the streak and win against Minnesota 20-16.
Houston @ Green Bay
The final game in the NFC North this week has the Houston Texans making their first ever trip to the "Frozen Tundra" of what is Lambeau Field. It is now finally the "Frozen Tundra" everyone in the state of Wisconsin waits for. Football played in the way it was made to be played. The Packers have lost back to back games against the NFC South and should have won last week against Carolina but could not make a tackle on a kickoff nor a DeAngelo Williams carry. Giving up 5 rushing touchdowns the Pack's D has for surely been hurting since Nick Barnett's injure and also combing that with Cullen Jenkins injury earlier this season the defense has been anything but disappointing. A-Rod needs to rally the troops and especially Ryan Grant needs to have a big game running the ball to control the clock to keep their own defense off the field and take pressure off of Rodgers. Rodgers' makes his first start for the Pack with snow on the ground and frigid temperatures needs to play not only well but smart in a "Must Win" for the Pack. The Green and Gold will look to take this one 27-19.
Cleveland @ Tennessee
The Titans almost having the South wrapped up needing only a loss by the Colts will do that, still looking for home field advantage throughout host the Browns who are without their top two QB's. Ten days to focus on the Browns is another key for the Titans who not only got rest and recovery from nagging injuries also got all of the film on Ken Dorsey needed to pressure him and confuse him. The Titans should be able to rush their "Smash and Dash" combo tailbacks and set up their playaction passes that they have done all year en route to another victory. Titans win at home 34-10.
Cincinnati @ Indianapolis
Peyton Manning and the Colts found a way to win last week against the Browns without scoring an offensive TD. Manning will likely get back on track and get his share of TD passes to both Harrison and Wayne. The run game will get some work in for both Addia and Rhodes both having big games racking up the rush yards in the second half. The Bengals are getting ready to play on the clock as they are looking to lock up a top 5 pick in next years NFL Draft in April. The Colts running away with this one 38-13.
Atlanta @ New Orleans
The Falcons staying right in the heat of things in the Wild Card and NFC South races with only 4 games to go in the season at 8-4. The Saints at 6-6 need a miracle to make the postseason this year and have not done much on defense to help out its offense. Drew Brees is likely to shatter Dan Marino's record for pass yards in a season but without the "W's" it won't mean anything for the team. Michael Turner looks to have a big game against a less than impressive defense and Matt Ryan should hook up with Pro Bowl probable wide out in Roddy White. The ATL locks in another win on the road and becomes one step closer to getting into the postseason with a 31-22 victory.
Philadelphia @ New York Giants
The Giants continue to roll against everyone and anyone. Even with the Plaxico Burress situation getting more and more interesting each and everyday the Giants do not seem to care about it. They have faced adversity before and probably will again this season. Each time they have reacted in a positive way that usually made their team more prepared and ready to whip their next opponent. The Eagles have not looked like a playoff team and will miss them again this year for the second straight time, but they will put up a fight against the defending Champs. Eli and the running game will be too much and dominate the Eagles. G-Men win even with all the distractions, 30-16.
Kansas City @ Denver
Denver can lock up the West and make it back into the postseason under Coach Shanahan once again. The Chiefs have nothing to play for except that they "Play to win the game, you don't play to just play" as Herm Edwards would put it. Young gun slinger in Tyler Thigpen have played his way to their starter next season but that may be their only bright spot on the season. Denver has not played exceptional ball this year but have squeaked out games here and there and this week will be no different. Rivals for many years they reacquaint themselves with one another this Sunday and the Broncos look to remind the Chiefs who is exactly going to be playing to win game as Denver wins 33-22.
Miami @ Buffalo
Miami travels to play the struggling Bills in the frigid temperatures and weather of Toronto? Yes, this game in going to be played in a Dome in Toronto as a home game for the reeling Bills. They have been 1-5 since starting 5-1 this year and don't look now but Miami may be playing for a playoff spot one year after only winning 1 game. Out of their last 4 games including this one they may end up with 10 or even 11 wins. Only the season finale against the Jets may leave them on the outside looking into the January games. The Bills will have to try again next season and hope for a better finish to next season to Circle the Wagons. Dolphins win in Toronto 27-24.

The Pats tied with Miami in the division and one game back of the Jets. They need to win to keep pace or break even with a tie. The struggling Seahawks may be just what the doctor ordered to help their ailing offense playmakers. No problem for the Pats against Seattle, as they cruise to victory 24-6.

Don't look at the standings in the NFC West, but the Cardinals, Yes! the Cardinals can clinch the West title with a win or a loss by the 49ers. It would be their first divisional title in 33 years. The Cardinals played poorly on Thanksgiving will rebound and get ready for the push and into the playoffs as they run over the Rams, 34-16.

Arguably the game of the week is on in the "Steel City." Pittsburgh seems to have the game of the week each week over the past two months. Games that included: home against the Giants, home against Indianapolis, home against San Diego, at New England and now home to Dallas. They went 2-2 in those games and now look to go above .500 and beat the Cowboys. Tony Romo has been on track since returning to the lineup and T.O. is happy once again. This will be a hard hitting game as 2 of the power houses of the 90s renew their rivalry and do battle in the place where the "Terrible Towels" wave from start to finish. In a close defensive game, Pittsburgh gets it done down the stretch. Steelers prevail 23-20.

The Redskins may be without All-Pro Running Back in Clinton Portis and have been struggling as of late. Rookie QB Joe Flacco has played outstanding to this point and will try and continue his play. The Ravens can smell blood in the Redskins and look to take this one at home. Baltimore wins at home 23-15.

This weeks Monday Night game has us watching the top two teams in the NFC South and arguably the top two teams in the NFC not named the Giants. Both teams sitting at 9-3 tied at the top of the South. Carolina has won ugly on several occasions this season and Tampa has not been married to a QB for the entire season and Gruden is only a few bad series to divorce Garcia and propose to another one of his potential brides on the bench. This will be a hard hitting smash mouth football game in Charlotte. The home team has won ugly and this could be an ugly game. Carolina "winner winner chicken dinner" winning 27-23.

This weeks Monday Night game has us watching the top two teams in the NFC South and arguably the top two teams in the NFC not named the Giants. Both teams sitting at 9-3 tied at the top of the South. Carolina has won ugly on several occasions this season and Tampa has not been married to a QB for the entire season and Gruden is only a few bad series to divorce Garcia and propose to another one of his potential brides on the bench. This will be a hard hitting smash mouth football game in Charlotte. The home team has won ugly and this could be an ugly game. Carolina "winner winner chicken dinner" winning 27-23.

The BIg Ten Season
Every year around this time the leaves begin to fall from the trees and the temperatures begin to plummet below freezing. The snow starts to fall and snowman and snow angels begin to form and the men in the Big Ten start to do battle on the hardwood. College football begins to unwind and boys of winter start to make their presences be known as they take center stage in the nation on their respective campuses.
Many teams try to improve from last years successes and others try to rebuild as they were devastated by graduation. Some like Purdue return all of their starters and look to take the next step and win the Big Ten outright and make a deep run in the NCAA's. Michigan State returns many of their main components from last year even after losing a great leader in Drew Neitzel, return with a young and promising Kalin Lucas. He has the skills and ability to become an all conference player this season. Wisconsin returns several players as well like Trevon Hughes, Marcus Laundry, Joe Krabbenhoft and Jason Bohannon.
Several teams with first and second year coaches that have their program's believing and buying into their system and philosophy. Tuby Smith has the Gophers improved and will fight for a bid into the big dance. Tom Crean at Indiana has a new strut in Bloomington for the Hoosiers to get on with. After Kalvin Sampson's debackle of a season last year and a disappointing run in the Big Ten with the talent they had last year will make Indiana fans upset if a big year is not in their near future.
In the conference this year look for Purdue, Michigan State, and Wisconsin to be the creame of the crop of the Mid West. Purdue for their experience of all 5 starters returning from a 13-3 Big Ten record in conference last season. The Spartans have a young and experience blend of talent with Lucas in the backcourt along with Raymar Morgan and Sutton in the front court. The Badgers return veteran players like Laundry, Krabbenhoft in the front line and a three point specialist in Jason Bohannon and a skilled setted point guard Trevon Hughes. Led by Coach Bo Ryan the Badgers won both the regular season and Big Ten Tournament Titles last season.
All three of these teams will do battle as Wisconsin will pull out in the end having to only play Michigan State once this year and Purdue finishing second place. Michigan State will be third in a heated conference run. Tom Izzo will be disappointed but will make a deep run in March as they can very well win the Big Ten Tourney. Following the elite of the Big Ten Michigan will be very improved as entering their second season under Jim Beilein and a talented young guard in Manny Harris will cause some chaos in the conference. Penn State has some good solid players in Talor Battle, Stanley Pringle, and Jamelle Cornely that may cause match up problems in the Big Ten.
The conference will get at least three teams into the dance but like most seasons will likely get somewhere between 4-6 teams. The others may include Minnesota, Indiana, Michigan, and Penn State.

NBA Overview
Now that the NBA is entering into its third week of games, teams are getting the feel of what type of team they are going to be this year. The Lakers and Celtics look dominate in a class above everyone else in the league. The Cavs, Magic, Rockets, Hornets, Jazz, Suns, Pistons, Nuggets and many other teams are trying to stay close to the top of their conferences and get into position for a possible trade that will put them over the top. Injuries have also slowed down teams and their progression and have given evidence that teams like San Antonio, will have to scrap and claw to make the postseason.
After watching many games in these first few weeks I've witnessed the Nuggets with Iverson look like an average team and then transform into a legitimate playoff contender with the acquisition of Chauncey Billups. The Pistons have a new identity that looks like a fierce defense when needed but more of an offensive minded team looking to mix it up. The Knicks now are selling their team in order to offer LeBron James a historical contract offer in 2010.
Based on what has been played out my predictions for this season in the NBA goes out like this. In the West, no one will touch the Lakers. Kobe Bryant has looked good and hasn't had to carry the team much at all with Gasol and Bynum in the middle working together on both ends of the floor. Ariza has improved and the veteran leadership of Derek Fisher has and will continue to play dividends in the Staples Center. Even with the playoff bust, Lamar Odom still on the roster for now, look for the Lakers to try and deal him to sure up the team for the postseason where they will, without a hick up win the west and be in the Finals.
Also in the West, the Hornets have started out slow other than CP3. Paul will be in contention for MVP of the league and take the Hornets deep into the postseason for the second consecutive year but they are not quite there, even after the addition of Posey. The Rockets made noise in the off season by acquiring Ron Artest, but on the court in the early goings the "Big 3" in Houston have yet to play well together and be healthy. Yao, McGrady, and Artest all have been banged up and have not jelled yet. Their bright spot thus far have been rookie guard from Oregon, Aaron Brooks. He has played well and will be important for the Rockets to score on the second line and generate offense when the main guys struggle. Houston should get on track and roll into the playoffs and cause some havoc.
Utah continues to look like a Jerry Sloan team since he has been there. Deron Williams and Carlos Boozer look good, and get the necessary help from many role players and will try and advance beyond the second round and possibly into the finals. The Trail Blazers are one of the youngest teams in the league and have the most upside in the future as well as now. Brandon Roy a great young stud in the league continues to carry the young team to victories and now they finally get their prized pick in Greg Oden off the injured list. He along with LaMarcus Aldridge once they get more playing time should be a great combo inside to help open things for Roy and other shoots like Steve Blake and Sergio Rodriguez. The Blazers will likely make the playoffs and impress many people along their ride this year.
Other teams to watch in the West include the new look Nuggets. With a new sheriff running the point and a big time shooter as Chauncey Billups is, the Nuggets increased their chances at making noise in the postseason by 100 times. When the Spurs get their weapons back (Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili) from injury they should be back. It is an odd numbered year so it is not out of the question for San Antonio to be there in the end. Dallas cannot be figured out. One night they are on and clicking together and the next they look like a poor man's Knicks. They have the talent and coaching, but they don't always show up and play. The Phoenix Suns' window to make a deep run at a title is getting ever so closely to being finished. Nash is losing a little bit of a half step and Shaq and Grant Hill are almost at the end. Amare can be dominate but refuses to be on a consistent basis to make the Suns a feared threat at the title. They should make the playoffs but that is about it. Finally, the Golden State Warriors have defiantly shown flashes of potential but if they can sustain that kind of basketball over the marathon of a season is yet to be seen. Stephen Jackson has rejuvenated his career out in Oakland and looked like a new player and they have many other young talents. If Don Nelson can have them focused on a consistent manner they will be a tough out if they get into the top 8.
In the East, it is the Boston Celtics, then the Cleveland LeBrons' and then a bunch of so-so's. Many teams on paper have looked to improve like the 76ers, Raptors, and Pistons. But thus far the jury is still out. These three teams are among a few others that are just not there at the level of Cleveland. Atlanta and Orlando are two more teams that are just not their. If these teams got one more piece to their puzzles they may be over the hump and on the level but as of now it is not so.
The defending champs look like they can and could repeat as Eastern Conference Champs. The Big 3 all together, Pierce looking like the best clutch player in the league and Rondo's growth as the Point Guard has Boston looking for more. Behind them LeBron has his game at the highest as it could be. Not settling for jump shots as often as he has in the past and taking it strong and getting to the line has also opened up Gibson and newly acquired Mo Williams. The Cavs will be around til the end and will possibly setting up a potential Game 7 in the Conference Finals against the Celts.
The Magic lead by Dwight Howard, can be a dangerous team in the postseason with his presence and dominance at times, but he looks unfocused and not as hungry as a big man should. He will defiantly be around for a long time and into the postseason as the Magic could be a dark horse. The Raptors are trying to use their own duo in the post with Chris Bosh and Jermaine O'Neal. They can cause match up problems as they both can shoot the mid range jumpers and back down a defender. Youth and inexperience in the team will eventually be a problem and a likely early round exit in their future.
The Pistons can be great this year or average with AI in Mo Town. Price and Hamilton still running the show in Detroit, for now, with Rasheed still chatting it up with the officials and now Iverson in town taking it slow for now, but look for the old, shoot first mentality to come forth eventually and may take the Pistons down with him. This may very well be the last good chance for Detroit to get another Championship with their main group. They will make the playoffs and then a second round exit. Philly and Elton Brand look to make it into postseason play and then drop out early. They look to be not ready to play with one another and need time to grow with one another. In 2 or 3 years this team will be dangerous with guys like the "other AI," Brand, Miller, and Dalembert. Atlanta may be a surprise in the postseason this year. They took the champs to a game 7 and with a better match up in the first round may pull off an upset and make a second round appearance for a change.
In the end I look for the Celts to take the East by beating Bron Bron in a Game 7, again. Bron will carry the team through the playoffs but eventually his supporting cast will not be good enough. The Lakers will dominate the West all season long and again make it to the finals. This time around the Lakers will take it to a Game 7 and Still lose. The rivalry will be in full strength again and will make a very interesting finals and the Celts will repeat as Champs.
LeBron will be this years MVP and Greg Oden will win Rookie of the Year. Oh, and the Knicks will have the worst record in the league.

Week 12 NFL Predictions
Hey there back again after a long lay off, mostly due some hardcore school work, but let's see what's in store for ya this time. This week in the NFL again the NFL Network will bring to you, or those of you who are blessed with the NFL Network will see the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cincinnati Bengals. Also on the market of games include a Sunday Showdown between two under achieving teams Indianapolis and San Diego and also the Jets try to take down the Titans.
Pittsburgh @ Cincinnati
The Steelers are back in action after finishing off a difficult 1-2 home stand which included the Manning Brothers and finally the San Diego Chargers. The Steelers look to get healthy as well as to get another victory against the division. The Bengals to a much surprise not beating the Eagles last week but ending the game, with a tie. The Bengals are going to be with Ocho Cinco because of being suspended by Head Coach Marvin Lewis. The Steelers won't have much competition in this Thursday Night Showcase, especially with a healthy Willie Parker. Pittsburgh dominates this one, 31-13.
Houston @ Cleveland
The Brady Quinn era is officially off and running and running in the right direction it appears to be going. Leading a charge against the Broncos that the defense could not hold and then beating the Bills on Monday Night was a coming out party that Brady Quinn is there to stay in Cleveland for a long time. The Texans trying to improve and stop somebody on defense. The offense has shown light with weapons like Slaton, Daniels, and Johnson, but the defense cannot stop anybody to give the team a chance to win. Brady's Browns win at home in the dog pound, 21-17.
San Fransisco @ Dallas
Romo is back and the Boys in Big D feel more confident now that their leader is back under center. Dallas stole one against the Redskins last week and have the helpless 49ers coming into town this week. Dallas is getting healthy and ready for the playoff push. Oh did I not mention that Pacman has also been reinstated by the Commissioner. The Boys at home roll 30-13.
Tampa Bay @ Detroit
The Lions are this generations version of the Yuccaneers back when they were this bad. The Lions have done little season and have not had much to celebrate this season and the clock on the draft is ticking. Calvin Johnson however has taken his game to a new level with the absense of Roy E. Williams being traded. The Bucs need to continue to win especially this game if they want to win the NFC South and make the playoffs again. Tampa wins 24-14.
New York Jets @ Tennessee
The Jets are next item on the minds of the unbeaten Titans. The Titans unbeaten and no one thinks they can do what the Patroits did last season. They continue to do it with defense and running the ball. The Jets come into the Music City and led by Favre, the Jets have playoffs on their minds as well. If the Jets can pull off the upset they remain in contention for a first round bye. I see the unbeaten Titans remaining that way going into Thanksgiving's Feast on the defeated Lions. Jets try to rally late, Titans win 19-13.
Buffalo @ Kansas City
The Bills lost another game by a wide right kick. What were the odds? Greatly if you are in Buffalo. The Bills at 5-5 need this game and must treat it like a "must win game" and actually close the game. Trent Edwards needs to out play the lone bright spot of the Chiefs in Tyler Thigpen. Thigpen has looked good and a possible long term solution at QB in KC. The take this one real seriously and win it 24-10.
Chicago @ St. Louis
The Bears did not just get beaten by their rivals the Packers, they got their tails kicked. 37-3, is an understatement of a beat down. They look to get back on track by giving the load to rookie sensation Matt Forte. With the reeling Rams not playing good, but have picked up their intensity since the coaching change. The Monsters of the Midway win this one on the road 23-10.
New England @ Miami
The Dolphins only had 1 victory all season last year and this season are in contention to make the playoffs and/or win the division. They defeated the Pats back in their first meeting on the beginning of the "Wildcat" formation. New England has had 10 days to prepare for the feared Wildcat and will be ready. I see Miami to continue to tweak their beloved formation and have a few unexpected wrinkles. Miami wins 24-17 and sweep the season series.
Minnesota @ Jacksonville
All Day, Adrien Peterson has been playing great football again this season and will not be tackled easily. The Jags need to win 5 outta their final 6 to have a shot at making the postseason again for consecutive years and it starts on Sunday. Jacksonville has not impressed much of anyone lately and have struggled. Jags at home, Minnesota not playing well as a team, Jacksonville needs this one and they get it. 20-16 with a lot of field goals.
New York @ Arizona
The Giants rolled the Ravens defense last week and ran all over them. They have looked unbeatable and they have no flaws in their team. Kurt Warner has put up better numbers thus far this season than he has in either of his previous two MVP seasons. Fitzgerald and Boldin have been uncoverable through out the season and Hightower doing work in the backfield. The Experts say the Giants are 7.5 points better. That is why I am going to take a 24-16 point win for the CARDS in an upset. They beat Dallas at home and now they will do the same to the Giants.
Philadelphia @ Baltimore
The Ravens did not think they could be run on like the Giants did last week. And apparently McNabb did not know that an NFL game could be ended in a tie. The only thing to know if you are the Eagles here is the Ravens are hungry after an embarrassing lose to the G-Men last week. Look for the Ravens to take their anger out on McNabb and win the game 27-13.
Oakland @ Denver
The Broncos lead the division by 2 full games and do not look like they want the division. The Raiders are who else, the Raiders. They had a chance to steal a win last week and could not take it. No one knows which Denver team will show up this Sunday. This would be a gift for San Diego if Oakland pulled this one out. I may be crazy, but I think this is the week the luck for the Chargers changes. Starting with Oakland winning 20-17 on a winning field goal in the final minutes.
Washington @ Seattle
The Skins need to take this one to stay ahead of the Cowboys and stay in the playoff hunt in the NFC. Portis will run loose and Santana Moss will score a TD to prevail the Redskins to beat the Seahawks who have had a terrible season on the farewell year for Coach Holmgren. Washington behind big numbers for Portis, 26-14.
Carolina @ Atlanta
One of the most intriguing and also one with the most at stake on this week's slate. Carolina leading the South and looking to be a legitimate playoff and Super Bowl contender with the Giants go into the ATL to face the NFL's most surprising team this year. Rookie sensation Matt Ryan and Roddy White's breakout season have the Falcons in the battle for the postseason. Two good teams looking to make the next step in the NFC and put fear into their opponents eyes. This will be a hard hitting defensive battle in the South and Atlanta coming out on top in the end, 19-17.
Indianapolis @ San Diego
The Sunday Night game of the week has two disappointing teams battling it out for a playoff position. The Colts are looking like they are finally getting back on track to where everyone expected them to be. They took down the Steelers a few weeks ago at Heinz Field and last week put up over 30 points. The Chargers have had 3 heart breaking games ended with defeat to where they could easily be 7-3 instead of their 4-6. Last week losing with a missed field goal and Pittsburgh running out the clock after nailing a kick of their own. San Diego needs this one more than the Colts do and they are at home back in the warmer climate of southern California. The Chargers squeak this game out and get closer to the top of the AFC West, 27-24.
Green Bay @ New Orleans
Monday Night Football returns to the Super Dome two high powered offenses face off against challenged defenses. The Packers defense has returned 7 interceptions and fumbles back for TDs as well as Will Blackmon's 2 Punt Returns for TDs. Aaron Rodgers has big games because the Packers set him up with play action passes because Ryan Grant rushes for over a 100 yards again. Green Bay heating up at the right time of the season 31-17.
Pittsburgh @ Cincinnati
The Steelers are back in action after finishing off a difficult 1-2 home stand which included the Manning Brothers and finally the San Diego Chargers. The Steelers look to get healthy as well as to get another victory against the division. The Bengals to a much surprise not beating the Eagles last week but ending the game, with a tie. The Bengals are going to be with Ocho Cinco because of being suspended by Head Coach Marvin Lewis. The Steelers won't have much competition in this Thursday Night Showcase, especially with a healthy Willie Parker. Pittsburgh dominates this one, 31-13.
Houston @ Cleveland
The Brady Quinn era is officially off and running and running in the right direction it appears to be going. Leading a charge against the Broncos that the defense could not hold and then beating the Bills on Monday Night was a coming out party that Brady Quinn is there to stay in Cleveland for a long time. The Texans trying to improve and stop somebody on defense. The offense has shown light with weapons like Slaton, Daniels, and Johnson, but the defense cannot stop anybody to give the team a chance to win. Brady's Browns win at home in the dog pound, 21-17.
San Fransisco @ Dallas
Romo is back and the Boys in Big D feel more confident now that their leader is back under center. Dallas stole one against the Redskins last week and have the helpless 49ers coming into town this week. Dallas is getting healthy and ready for the playoff push. Oh did I not mention that Pacman has also been reinstated by the Commissioner. The Boys at home roll 30-13.
Tampa Bay @ Detroit
The Lions are this generations version of the Yuccaneers back when they were this bad. The Lions have done little season and have not had much to celebrate this season and the clock on the draft is ticking. Calvin Johnson however has taken his game to a new level with the absense of Roy E. Williams being traded. The Bucs need to continue to win especially this game if they want to win the NFC South and make the playoffs again. Tampa wins 24-14.
New York Jets @ Tennessee
The Jets are next item on the minds of the unbeaten Titans. The Titans unbeaten and no one thinks they can do what the Patroits did last season. They continue to do it with defense and running the ball. The Jets come into the Music City and led by Favre, the Jets have playoffs on their minds as well. If the Jets can pull off the upset they remain in contention for a first round bye. I see the unbeaten Titans remaining that way going into Thanksgiving's Feast on the defeated Lions. Jets try to rally late, Titans win 19-13.
Buffalo @ Kansas City
The Bills lost another game by a wide right kick. What were the odds? Greatly if you are in Buffalo. The Bills at 5-5 need this game and must treat it like a "must win game" and actually close the game. Trent Edwards needs to out play the lone bright spot of the Chiefs in Tyler Thigpen. Thigpen has looked good and a possible long term solution at QB in KC. The take this one real seriously and win it 24-10.
Chicago @ St. Louis
The Bears did not just get beaten by their rivals the Packers, they got their tails kicked. 37-3, is an understatement of a beat down. They look to get back on track by giving the load to rookie sensation Matt Forte. With the reeling Rams not playing good, but have picked up their intensity since the coaching change. The Monsters of the Midway win this one on the road 23-10.
New England @ Miami
The Dolphins only had 1 victory all season last year and this season are in contention to make the playoffs and/or win the division. They defeated the Pats back in their first meeting on the beginning of the "Wildcat" formation. New England has had 10 days to prepare for the feared Wildcat and will be ready. I see Miami to continue to tweak their beloved formation and have a few unexpected wrinkles. Miami wins 24-17 and sweep the season series.
Minnesota @ Jacksonville
All Day, Adrien Peterson has been playing great football again this season and will not be tackled easily. The Jags need to win 5 outta their final 6 to have a shot at making the postseason again for consecutive years and it starts on Sunday. Jacksonville has not impressed much of anyone lately and have struggled. Jags at home, Minnesota not playing well as a team, Jacksonville needs this one and they get it. 20-16 with a lot of field goals.
New York @ Arizona
The Giants rolled the Ravens defense last week and ran all over them. They have looked unbeatable and they have no flaws in their team. Kurt Warner has put up better numbers thus far this season than he has in either of his previous two MVP seasons. Fitzgerald and Boldin have been uncoverable through out the season and Hightower doing work in the backfield. The Experts say the Giants are 7.5 points better. That is why I am going to take a 24-16 point win for the CARDS in an upset. They beat Dallas at home and now they will do the same to the Giants.
Philadelphia @ Baltimore
The Ravens did not think they could be run on like the Giants did last week. And apparently McNabb did not know that an NFL game could be ended in a tie. The only thing to know if you are the Eagles here is the Ravens are hungry after an embarrassing lose to the G-Men last week. Look for the Ravens to take their anger out on McNabb and win the game 27-13.
Oakland @ Denver
The Broncos lead the division by 2 full games and do not look like they want the division. The Raiders are who else, the Raiders. They had a chance to steal a win last week and could not take it. No one knows which Denver team will show up this Sunday. This would be a gift for San Diego if Oakland pulled this one out. I may be crazy, but I think this is the week the luck for the Chargers changes. Starting with Oakland winning 20-17 on a winning field goal in the final minutes.
Washington @ Seattle
The Skins need to take this one to stay ahead of the Cowboys and stay in the playoff hunt in the NFC. Portis will run loose and Santana Moss will score a TD to prevail the Redskins to beat the Seahawks who have had a terrible season on the farewell year for Coach Holmgren. Washington behind big numbers for Portis, 26-14.
Carolina @ Atlanta
One of the most intriguing and also one with the most at stake on this week's slate. Carolina leading the South and looking to be a legitimate playoff and Super Bowl contender with the Giants go into the ATL to face the NFL's most surprising team this year. Rookie sensation Matt Ryan and Roddy White's breakout season have the Falcons in the battle for the postseason. Two good teams looking to make the next step in the NFC and put fear into their opponents eyes. This will be a hard hitting defensive battle in the South and Atlanta coming out on top in the end, 19-17.
Indianapolis @ San Diego
The Sunday Night game of the week has two disappointing teams battling it out for a playoff position. The Colts are looking like they are finally getting back on track to where everyone expected them to be. They took down the Steelers a few weeks ago at Heinz Field and last week put up over 30 points. The Chargers have had 3 heart breaking games ended with defeat to where they could easily be 7-3 instead of their 4-6. Last week losing with a missed field goal and Pittsburgh running out the clock after nailing a kick of their own. San Diego needs this one more than the Colts do and they are at home back in the warmer climate of southern California. The Chargers squeak this game out and get closer to the top of the AFC West, 27-24.

NFL Week 11 Preview
New York at New England
Thanks to our lovely NFL Network, we again have a great Thursday night tilt that so many of us will not see until Sportscenter that follows the game. The New York Jets take on the New England Patriots in a pivotal AFC East match up that can go a long way in determining the winner of the division. Jets come in winning their last few games and the most recent by a wide margin. Looking to continue to roll through their competition in route to a playoff berth. The Pats look to also solidify themselves as a contender in the AFC. Without much of a running game and Cassel not throwing the deep ball to Randy Moss, look for the Jets take advantage of the inexperienced Cassel and use their new additions to attack the former high school starter. The Jets look more like a contender than the Pats and the Jets win with some Favre magic. Oh and Ty Law is back and ready to play for Jets this week. Jets 24-16.
Denver at Atlanta
The surprise that is the Falcons continue to roll through their impressive season, lead by rookie of the year lock Matt Ryan. The Broncos have had several injuries this year, especially at running back and have turned to Tatum Bell to help them out. Michael Turner and Jerious Norwood look to have a big games on the ground as the Falcons come back home to the friendly confines in the Georgia Dome. Ryan hits Roddy White for a pair of TDs and win the game 34-20.
Philadelphia at Cincinnati
The win streak for the lonely Bengals looks to settle at one. Defeating the Jaguars was and probably will be the highlight of the year for Cincinnati fans. The Eagles come into town in need of a victory to stay in the hunt for a wild card spot in the tough NFC. The Eagles lost a tough one to the Giants last Sunday and need to win and stay in contention. Don't look for the Eagles to fool around in this one. Philly wins big 38-13.
Chicago at Green Bay
The frozen tundra begins to become frozen once again as it is getting to be time of year again. Playoff games and playoff spots are beginning to unfold and it looks like only one spot will come out of the NFC North this season and this game could be the difference for both of these teams. The Bears lost last week to the unbeaten Titans and the Packers with zero offense lost on a last second missed 52 yard field goal attempt by Mason Crosby. This game means so much for both teams as the Pack tries to maintain one game behind the Minnesota Vikings and the Bears look to keep base as they are looming a game against the Vikes themselves. They looks to be another hard hitting defensive battle as both teams need this win. I'll take the Pack at home in a very tight game with a lot of field goals. Green Bay 19-13 winners.

They are favorites at home and rightfully so, the Colts will continue their winning streak and win this 27-17.

The Vikings travel to former division rivals against Tampa where both teams, very much alive in the playoff race. The Bucs activate their Cadilac but the Vikings AP continues to run on everybody he goes up against. Almost 200 yards last week, and looks to be much of the same this week. However, the Bucs coming off a bye look to keep pace with Carolina and stay in reach of the NFC South. Tampa Bay wins a tight game against Minnesota 23-17.

Detroit starting Daunte Culpepper for his first start as a member of the Lions. The Lions have not done much of anything this year and does not look to start this week in Carolina. The Panther combo backfield of Williams and Stewart is showing why 2 backs are a necessity in this era of the NFL. Peppers gets to Daunte often and forces Culpepper to rethink that whole coming outa retirement. Panthers win and Delhomme plays better than last weeks dilbacko. Carolina 31-17.
St. Louis at San Fransisco
Both of these teams are done, stick a fork in them and throw them out. This game can however see how well Singletary's got the Niners ready on a short week and try to get his first win as a head coach. He had a chance to up end the Cardinals on Monday Night but on the final play of the game decided to run a fullback dive up the middle that was stuffed. The Rams with flashes of the old Rams in previous weeks were demolished last week in New York. The Rams head into the Bay area and leave defeated to Coach Singletary's first career victory as a Head Coach. Niners 20-16.
Arizona at Seattle
These two teams are total opposite directions as they were at this time last season. The Cards look to be in the drivers seat in the West and it is there division to lose. The Seahawks struggling, but likely get Hasselbeck back this week have been dissappointing. Injuries and not very physical on defense have led to a dismal season in Seattle. At home, however look for the 12th man to contribute to helping the home team steal a win against a legit Cardinal team. Seattle steals one 28-24.

The Jaguars have had a very dissappointing season and the Titans have looked like a contender to go to the Super Bowl. They run the ball extremely well and when they don't Collins manages the game and can win it if need be as he did last week in Chi-Town. At home and emotion running high on the opposition the Redskins may be without running back Portis. Dallas needs this one more and gets the road win 31-23.

Texas Tech the Real Number 1
It's been argued over who is most deserving of being the number 1 team in the land. It started once Texas Tech defeated the Longhorns on the night following Halloween. Alabama jumped to number 1 after the upset in Lubbock. Tech jumped into the number 2 slot which was thought to have been for Penn St. Now that Penn St. has lost, it is truly a two team race for the National Championship. That is however, if they both remain unbeaten.
Alabama is ranked as the number one team in the land, and feel good about that. However, the Red Raiders may actually be the better team and with the better case for being ranked as number 1.
Alabama's a tough team playing better than everyone expected to be this early into Saban's regime. Playing many freshman and sophomore's at important spots on the team. They have dominated their competition in the SEC. The Tide has also won three key road games against ranked teams. They beat down the Tigers from Clemson in week 1. Then they went to the Georgia Dome to play against the Bulldogs on a blackout attempt. Then this past Saturday night, they traveled to face LSU and beat Saban's old team and won in overtime 27-21.
Bama's defense has played exceptional this season only allowing 14.5 points per game, this according to ESPN.com. Like I mentioned previously, they have also beaten down all three of their ranked opponents they have played this year. All of which were road games for Bama. Clemson was ranked #9, Georgia #3, and LSU #16. However, of these road victories, Clemson has since fired their coach and has struggle since the opening kickoff against the Crimson Tide and have yet to recover. Georgia has had many problems on the offensive line and have not lived up to their preseason expectations.
On the flip side the Red Raiders from Texas Tech have surpassed all expectations from the media this year thus far. They have the best receiver in all of college football in Michael Crabtree and an underrated quarterback in Graham Harrell.
Tech's body of work has been rather impressive, especially over the past three weeks. Tech, like Alabama did not have a tough non conference schedule, but has had a string of rough and tough games against Big XII opponents. Starting on October 25, they beat down the #23 Kansas Jayhawks with an easy victory putting up 63 points. Then they traveled home to face the #1 ranked and rivals Texas Longhorns and the rest is history. Harrel to Crabtree, touchdown with 1 second remaining in the game. Then this past week taking down the Oklahoma State Cowboys on 7 straight touchdown drives in route to a 56-20 wallop.
The Red Raiders have averaged 47.9 points per game this year, and 49.3 points per game in conference play. This according to ESPN.com as well. Tech has been consistent on the offensive end this year and has been scoring on everyone they have played this season. Crabtree and Harrell are legit Heisman candidates this year and likely to be named players of the year in the Big XII. They are running the ball this year and not slowing down anytime soon.
The Tech defense has also been rather underrated this season. Allowing only 22.2 points per game and have played even better in the clutch games on prime time. They, like most teams in the Big XII have problems stopping opponents offense but have risen to the occasion and stopped teams when needing stops. Against the Longhorns they forced two turnovers and also recorded a safety. They flustered McCoy all game long and held the dynamic running game of the Horns as well in check for the majority of the game. Against the Cowboys they held the top receiver Dez Bryant in check with only one catch in the first half and 4 for the entire game.
The other obvious case to make for Texas Tech as being the number 1 team in college football is that when the Texas Longhorns defeated the Oklahoma Sooners in the Red River Shootout, the Sooners at the time were ranked number 1, the Horns jumped from 5 to 1 in the standings. Now, after the Red Raiders defeated the top team in the land, wouldn't Tech swap spots and move into the number one slot? It only makes sense that if one team in the elite of teams moves to the top after knocking off the top dog, wouldn't it be the same for another team to move to the top spot if knocking off the top seed?
Texas Tech should be the top team in the land and they have proven they are worthy. I guess that there may be some bias that people do not believe that the Red Raiders are for real or if the clock will strike midnight in their next game at Norman, but that is to be seen. Texas Tech looks like the real deal and I have yet seen a defense stop this team on a consistent bases and slow them down. All will be forgotten though if they cannot take down their next biggest game of their lives as they travel into Norman and take on the Oklahoma Sooners, who are also in the mix in getting into the National Championship game.
Alabama is ranked as the number one team in the land, and feel good about that. However, the Red Raiders may actually be the better team and with the better case for being ranked as number 1.
Alabama's a tough team playing better than everyone expected to be this early into Saban's regime. Playing many freshman and sophomore's at important spots on the team. They have dominated their competition in the SEC. The Tide has also won three key road games against ranked teams. They beat down the Tigers from Clemson in week 1. Then they went to the Georgia Dome to play against the Bulldogs on a blackout attempt. Then this past Saturday night, they traveled to face LSU and beat Saban's old team and won in overtime 27-21.
Bama's defense has played exceptional this season only allowing 14.5 points per game, this according to ESPN.com. Like I mentioned previously, they have also beaten down all three of their ranked opponents they have played this year. All of which were road games for Bama. Clemson was ranked #9, Georgia #3, and LSU #16. However, of these road victories, Clemson has since fired their coach and has struggle since the opening kickoff against the Crimson Tide and have yet to recover. Georgia has had many problems on the offensive line and have not lived up to their preseason expectations.
On the flip side the Red Raiders from Texas Tech have surpassed all expectations from the media this year thus far. They have the best receiver in all of college football in Michael Crabtree and an underrated quarterback in Graham Harrell.
Tech's body of work has been rather impressive, especially over the past three weeks. Tech, like Alabama did not have a tough non conference schedule, but has had a string of rough and tough games against Big XII opponents. Starting on October 25, they beat down the #23 Kansas Jayhawks with an easy victory putting up 63 points. Then they traveled home to face the #1 ranked and rivals Texas Longhorns and the rest is history. Harrel to Crabtree, touchdown with 1 second remaining in the game. Then this past week taking down the Oklahoma State Cowboys on 7 straight touchdown drives in route to a 56-20 wallop.
The Red Raiders have averaged 47.9 points per game this year, and 49.3 points per game in conference play. This according to ESPN.com as well. Tech has been consistent on the offensive end this year and has been scoring on everyone they have played this season. Crabtree and Harrell are legit Heisman candidates this year and likely to be named players of the year in the Big XII. They are running the ball this year and not slowing down anytime soon.
The Tech defense has also been rather underrated this season. Allowing only 22.2 points per game and have played even better in the clutch games on prime time. Week 10 NFL Predictions
Denver at Cleveland
This week due to the NFL Network football has begun being played on Thursday nights. I am too late to make a prediction on the game, but I will give you my 2 cents on the game. Jay Cutler looked as good as ever throwing for 447 yards. The Broncos keep playing games with the fans on whether or not the team that is a contender to win the AFC West will show up and play or if the team that lost to the Kansas City Chiefs will show up. They looked good and were good enough to win against the new Browns, as the Brady Quinn era has begun. Quinn looked pretty comfortable on the field for the most part. A great first half and decent second was rather impressive for making an NFL debut. However, on the game's final drive Quinn did look vulnerable on the field as he looked nervous and rattled throwing the ball low and in a difficult location to pick up a 4th and 1. Look for big things to come from Brady Quinn for the remaining of the Browns season.
New Orleans at Atlanta
New Orleans at Atlanta is a toss up. The Saints rather disappointing thus far in the season. A Super Bowl contender for some and now last in the South. The Falcons, led by a rookie quarterback and a affective tag team backfield in Turner and Norwood, are one of the best surprises of the season. Here I see the magical season of the Falcons continuing as Matt Ryan leads Atlanta right past a vulnerable defense and hold on to close game 27-24.
Tennessee at Chicago
The Titans coming off a hard hitting and overtime win against Green Bay roll into the Windy City unbeaten and the NFL's best 1-2 punch. The Bears coming off a come back win against the defeated Lions come in without starting quarterback Kyle Orton. Orton still wanting to give it a go, will most likely give the nod to Sexy Rexy. The Bears defense still one of the tops in the game, however, I see the Titans running game continuing to run on everybody. Johnson a threat to the end zone everytime he touches it and LenDale White leading the League in TD's will get the win on the road in another hard hitting game against a NFC North team. Bears fall short and the Titans remain unbeaten with a 23-13 victory.
Jacksonville at Detroit
One week after handing the previously winless Bengels their first win of the year, the Jags head into Mo Town taking on another winless team in the Lions. The lonely Lions turn to recently unretired Daunte Culpepper to help them get at least one victory this season. The Jaguars looking to get another victory and stay in the hunt for a wild card spot in the AFC. Look for Jones-Drew and Fred Taylor get on track and set up Garrard with some deep play action passes to Matt Jones for Jaguar victory in Detroit. Jacksonville wins 31-17
Seattle at Miami
Seattle has struggled all year long this year with poor play and multiple injuries. I see the wildcat offense and Joey Porter and company moving right on past the Seahawks. Dolphins win 28-13.
Green Bay at Minnesota
The Packers coming off a well played game against Tennessee, meet there division rivals once again. Minnesota playing better and at home. It wouldn't seem possible for Aaron Rodgers to win at the Metro dome in his first career game but I am taking the Pack to up end the Vikings run with a 34-21 victory with a Woodson pick 6 in the final quarter.
Buffalo at New England
The Bills started out the year hot on a 5-1 record, but have lost the last 2 games, both to divisional opponents, now travel to New England. The Pats haven't looked all that great either, especially with no healthy running backs. I think this is a statement game for both teams as the winner will take command in the division and an upper hand until their next match up in the upcoming month. I'll take the road Bills to win 24-20.
St. Louis at New York Jets
The Rams have looked for new life after the head coaching change. They show more flashes for the "Greatest Show on Turf" form when Martz, Warner, and Faulk were running the team. Brett's Jets on the other hand have been more or less lucky rather than good in there past few games. They squeaked out a victory against the Chiefs and caught the Bills on an off week. I see Farve having another 2 INT game and the Rams keeping it close with their big play makers. The Rams pull off the upset winning 27-24.
Baltimore at Houston
This is the make up game from week 2. Unlucky for Houston having to play the Ravens now. McGahee not completely healthy, but doesn't matter. Rookie Ray Rice from Rutgers has handled the load and produced as well as Flacco to Mason has been a great combination. Houston's 1-2 receiving threats Johnson and Daniels will be quieted for the weekend as Baltimore rolls 24-13.
Carolina at Oakland
Not much to say here. Carolina looks like a contender to win the NFC South as their balance of rushing and passing looks great and their pass defense has been outstanding. The Raiders, well they are the Raiders. Dysfunctional and not much life in the Black Hole. DeAngelo Hall gone and Carolina smelling blood. Look for Carolina to win big 34-10.
Indianapolis at Pittsburgh
The Colts' down season doesn't look to get any better as they travel into the Steel City. The Steelers enter this week with questions at whether or not Big Ben and Willie Parker will play. The defense is one of the tops in the NFL. Leftwich stepped in last week and looks like he is ready to go if needed. I see the Colts going into Pittsburgh and coming out black and blue, but with a steal on the way out. Peyton leads the Colts on another game winning drive and gives the best clutch kicker in the game a chance to win the game for the Colts. Colts win 23-20.
Kansas City at San Diego
Kansas City blew a big lead last week and they do not have much of a chance this week against a rival in the Chargers. Rivers, Tomlinson, and Gates look to start their playoff and AFC West push towards the top. It looks to start this week against the Chiefs as they win big 38-16.
New York Giants at Philedelphia
The Giants look unbeatable as the Defense is stopping everybody and laying the lumber on them as well. Eli looks calm and precise in the pocket and they are doing it without much of Plaxico right now. The Eagles look strong, but if Westbrook is not productive it could be a long day in the City of Brotherly Love for the hometown Eagles. The Giants hold McNabb and Westbrook down and take the road victory with them back home. Big Blue wins this NFC East battle 27-21.

The 49ers have looked awful and the Cardinals for once, have looked legit. Warner looks like a top MVP candidate and Fitzgerald and Boldin look to have big games. Not much else to say here on my part, but Head Coach Singletary may have another bizzare half time speach to hear about Tuesday. The Cards royal flush the 49ers 28-13.
